When discussing the four years of the Minsk agreements, the permanent representative of Russia at the UN, Vasily Nebenze, had to correct his German counterpart.
Christoph Heusgen, the permanent representative from Germany, tried to accuse Russia of "that Russian soldiers were directly involved in both the occupation of Minsk and the occupation of Donetsk".
Nebenzya, in turn, proposed diplomatically that a colleague simply made a reservation "according to Freud".
"Russia took Berlin, I remember it was earlier, Minsk was liberated earlier," the diplomat recalled.
He emphasized in particular that Russia does not intend to invade or "catch" anyone.
In conclusion of his speech, he added that interference in the affairs of other countries is a method of the West, the results of which can be seen in the example of "one Latin American country".
