The Belarusian leader, Alexander Lukashenko, expressed the wish to discuss several problems at once, including the intention of the Ukrainian authorities to remove the country from the CIS, during a meeting with the former president of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko.
Lukashenko stressed that this event has not yet come and that the way out of the CIS is no daytime spending. "It is probably not profitable for Ukraine to break ties with our states individually and in general with the CIS," added the President of Belarus.
According to Lukashenko it will be easier to get out than to introduce later. "But this is a sovereign business of Ukraine, we have to take this into account," he emphasized.
